I am unable to talk about all of my findings in detail in 10 minutes, but here are additional methods, graphs and data.

LD in cells with overexpression of NRF2
Quantified LD content in HEK-TtH cell lines overexpressing NRF2 constructs.
Chapter 1: Citations
Sulforaphane stabilizes NRF2

Cells treated with Sulforaphane have stabilized NRF2.
Chapter 2: Citations
LD content in sulforaphane treated cells

Treated multiple cell lines with sulforaphane and measured LD content. Cells that are treated with this drug have increased LD content.
Chapter 3: Citations
NRF2 does not increase LD content through autophagy

Treated cells with a combination of chloroquine (CQ) which inhibits autophagy as well as sulforaphane which stabilizes NRF2. From this one experiment I do not observe any inhibition of LD accumulation in the sulforaphane + CQ treated cells.
NOTE: There was significant cell death in both CQ treated cell lines and this is a single experiment. Will repeat this experiment in 3-MA treated cells which also inhibits autophagy but will hopefully have significantly less cell death.
