I am the youngest of 8 children, have many nieces and nephews, as well as 5 great nephews. I am a fan of movies, cooking, craft beer, and LEGO. I began a PhD program in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at the University of Virginia in Fall of 2019. I then joined the lab of Dave Kashatus in January of 2020.

Research Summary

Elucidating the ability of oncogenes to regulate lipid droplet homeostasis and the influence this regulation has on the pathophysiology of cancer cells.
